Developed by Rim Chung, this is just an effective fly. A great imitation for many different mayflies in the rivers, it should be in your box if you are going anywhere in the area. Mayflies are prolific from the high elevation headwaters to where the river flows out of the foothills and onto the plains. I carry them in size 16 and smaller, down to about a size 20. I tie some with an Antron wing instead of natural feathers like the original pattern calls for. As you can see from the pictures though, Rim’s flies look a lot better then mine.
